A Memorable Montana Retreat

"Their effort for providing an enjoyable home was apparent in all details, even the small ones.... Anything I needed, they had. I definitely recommend a stay, especially if you’re looking for a place close to Glacier National Park."

The Location

Drake's Hideaway is nestled on the edge of a private, 3-acre property, far enough off the main highway to feel secluded, but very convenient for exploring the area. You are welcome to explore the grounds while you're here: you'll find wildflowers, wild herbs, and beautiful sunrise and sunset views from around the property.

The Amenities

The cabin's amenities are designed to make you feel as confortable as you would be in your own home. From the large, spa-like bathroom with local all-natural toiletries to the full kitchen with gas cooktop, ice maker, barware, and full-height refrigerator, you'll find everything you need is already there. Drake's Hideaway also includes dog bowls and toys, a propane BBQ grill, and your own smokeless campfire stove and chairs to relax into the night.

Reclaimed & Repurposed

Much of the material used in this cabin was salvaged from a 100-year old barn we dismantled piece by piece, discovering incredible old-growth cedar buried under many years of wear. The character of this barnwood brings a rustic beauty to your stay here. In addition, the cabin itself is built on the bones of a workshop from the herb farm that once stood on this property. Wandering around the property you may discover oregano and other familiar herbs now growing wild throughout the area.

Drake's Story

Drake, our beloved chocolate lab, was the friendly, curious, and food-motivated welcoming committee here at Aspen Hollow throughout the build of our first mini-cabin. Drake was always by Brad’s side, testing out nap sites around the property (usually wherever he was most in the way), and greeting our camping visitors with a wagging tail. His sweet and open-hearted nature inspired us to name this cabin after him. Now that he’s gone, we hope his fun-loving energy is felt during your stay here.
